DUNLAP EAGLES SOFTBALL grabs lead in fifth inning for Victory Over Metamora. DUNLAP EAGLES SOFTBALL took the lead late and defeated Metamora 4-1 on Thursday evening. The game was tied at one with Dunlap batting in the bottom of the fifth when Emma Wolfe singled off of Kaylee Hieronymous, driving in one run. Rachel Barrington earned the win for the Eagles.  She threw seven innings, allowing one run, three hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Barrington went 3-for-3 at the plate as she led the team with two runs batted in. It was a great defensive performance as well by Kaylee Combs, Emma Wolfe, Caroline Abenroth and the rest of the team to earn the victory.  Congratulations Girls!
